Clarkdale AZ (June 9, 2015) – The Town of Clarkdale Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, June 16 at 4:00 p.m. to discuss proposed changes to the Zoning Code related to commercial zoning districts. These include allowing certain agricultural uses in commercial zoning districts, adding park and ride facilities as a permitted use, consolidating specific uses into broader categories and alphabetizing and standardizing language throughout four commercial districts.  Development standards for agriculture to control water and fertilizer use and minimize impact on residential areas are also being reviewed.

Sedona AZ (June 8, 2015) – At approximately 1:30 pm, Sunday, June 7, 2015, Sedona Fire District (SFD) emergency crews were called to a report of a motor vehicle crash involving  two vehicles on West State Route 89A between Brewer Road and Rolling Hills Drive. SFD crews determined three of the four occupants died on the scene. By Ted Grussing … the ice, the cold and wintry plains on the Colorado Plateau. The area south and  east of Flagstaff is replete with small lakes and the stress cracks in the ice create beautiful patterns which are fun to witness.
