logo_USFS_USDAFlagstaff AZ (June 8, 2015) – Coconino National Forest invites the public to a community meeting this week to discuss an “all hands, all lands” approach to sustainable outdoor recreation management in northern Arizona.

The meeting will be at the Mogollon Rim Ranger Station at 8738 Ranger Road, Happy Jack, on Saturday (June 13) from 3 – 6 p.m.  Forest Service personnel will facilitate discussions on how to approach recreation opportunities in northern Arizona that are economically, ecologically and socially sustainable.

Beyond exploring the range and types of recreation opportunities available and being offered, the Coconino National Forest seeks to identify further prospects to work together with other government entities, non-profit groups, and commercial industries that serve the outdoor enthusiasts.
