Sedona AZ (September 25, 2014) – Illinois is a long way from Arizona, in more ways than one.  But Pop Up Sedona Gallery’s two featured artists for the month of October both have roots in Illinois, and though they have taken vastly different paths, those paths have now converged in Sedona. Sedona AZ (September 256, 2014) – Certified Meditation Instructor Pamela Joy, PhD is teaching a new weekly Meditation class beginning October 4th at SedonaFit, 1835 State Route 89A in West Sedona. The class will continue from 8:15-9:15am weekly. Each class will include brief discussion of various fundamental meditation principles, preparation for practice through breath or light stretching exercises, and a 30-minute practice that includes breath awareness, silent sound meditation, and other techniques.

By [name supplied]Village resident for 23 years(September 24, 2014) After leaving I 17 one of the first things the thousands of tourist driving through the Village see is the large billboard on Bell Rock Plaza  advertising McDonalds in West Sedona!  Really? Seriously are we  trying to hurry them on up as fast as possible to Sedona so they can satisfy their hunger and spend their money there? Isn’t there one local restaurant/business who could use that space to advertise? Firecreek does a good job with a tasteful sign  on the reverse side of the board!

Prescott AZ (September 23, 2014) – Recently YCSO K9 Deputy Randy Evers took his companion and law enforcement partner, “Neo,” to the veterinarian out of concern the K9 was not eating and acting very lethargic. A mass was discovered in Neo’s abdomen and there was fear it could be cancer. In order to check the mass, surgery would be required and the cost would nearly eliminate the budget designated for vet care involving the complete K9 team. Neo was also close to retirement, so there was consideration to wait and see how Neo fared on his own.

My church in the sky was bountiful and beckoning with beautiful clouds everywhere and by the time I figured out I should be landing and driving to my land based church, another opportunity presented itself to continue the dance among the clouds flying through canyon after canyon … gentle banks this way and steep banks that way.
