Sedona AZ (January 8, 2016) – Keep Sedona Beautiful will hold its 44th Annual Awards of Excellence event starting at 11:30 on February 13 in the ballroom at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa in Sedona. Every year since 1972, KSB has recognized outstanding efforts to do what its name implies — to “keep Sedona beautiful” in many ways. The awards have been made to businesses, individuals and organizations for signage, landscaping, and for architecture that complements — rather than conflicts with — our natural setting.

Have made a switch back to Lorde for audio guidance … see what happens when I don’t listen to your music Anthony :+) The images were a Hubble B&W image, a tree I shot on a walk over the weekend and a shot of One. So this…

By Ted Grussing… shots of wildlife and in particular water fowl in action transitioning into flight and returning to their watery runways. I love the action and the wild spray of water as webbed feet and wings thrash the surface as they accelerate across the pond and break with the surface and enter the realm of the sky. It is raining heavily now and it is cold. I’m in a semi warm home (still no furnace) and this Canvasback and Ring Neck are hunkered down at the ponds riding the storm out … I like being human.
Information & Perspective by Warren Woodward(January 6, 2016)Finally! It only took two months but last December 30th I received a phone message from someone at the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. The last one I finished about ten minutes ago and it was the nicest of the ones I cut today so a quick photo of it, not quite the quality photo I like but it shows you one very beautiful black crystal opal with full and intense color, mostly a neon sign quality red.
