Sedona AZ (March 8, 2013) – Sedona’s 43rd Annual St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival will start at 10:30 am and continue until 3:00 pm on Saturday March 16th. Bring your chairs early to set up along the Parade route on Jordan Road. Master of Ceremonies, John Conway is lending his skill for announcing both the Parade entries from the judging stand and the Festival activities from the Festival stage. A Parade & Festival Event Program will be distributed that morning along the parade route and will also be available at the Festival.

There was a meteor explosion in Russia. A giant asteroid just misses us on a cosmic scale and now three- recently discovered comets are buzzing or about to buzz the earth. With every cycle the individual grows in a number of ways.” He will speak on development of a child into adult and educating Hopi students using traditional values. Sedona AZ (March 7, 2013) – Two Sedona residents in Federal Magistrate Court on Tuesday pled guilty to criminal violations for unauthorized trail construction on the Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest. David Donohue, 40, was originally cited in October 2011 for construction of mountain bike jumps and also digging in and disturbing an archeological site on national forest land in Sedona near Beaverhead Flats. In a separate and unrelated case, Jeff Harris, 39, was originally cited in September 2012 for constructing a trail without authorization and damaging trees and other forest products on national forest land…

Flagstaff AZ (March 7, 2013) – In commemoration of Bach’s birthday, Tim Smith, professor of music theory at Northern Arizona University, has designed a “virtual performance” of the St. Matthew Passion. Sedona AZ (March 7, 2013) – Beginning Monday, March 11, 2013, the installation of a 6-inch waterline across Dry Creek Road, just south of the intersection with White Bear Road, is scheduled to begin. Construction for the water line extension may take up to two weeks for completion depending on excavation and weather conditions. Dry Creek Road will remain open during construction with temporary lane shifts. Minor delays are expected.
