[Editor’s note: both letters are in this document.] The first one is my motion to the Judge assigned to the docket, asking her to either end the “smart” meter program or hold an evidentiary hearing so that APS would be under oath (for a change!). Sedona AZ (December 4, 2014) – Searchers believe they have located the skeletal remains of 22 year old Thomas Lang who was originally reported as an overdue hiker on December 18, 2013. Thomas’s parents have spent many weekends since the formal search was suspended, hiking areas where they believe their son might be located. On Saturday, November 29, 2014 Thomas’ parents were searching for their son in the Secret Canyon area located within Yavapai County. Thomas’ mother, called the Coconino County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue advising she believed she found a jacket and shoes that possibly belonged to her son.

By Ted Grussing … frequently one thinks speed, speed, speed to get great wildlife shots … stop the action and get a fabulous freeze and I frequently shoot that way at the ponds and elsewhere because of the angles I am shooting at. Every once in a while though an opportunity arises where you get a chance to incorporate some very neat effects into the image when shooting. This was the case when Ted and I were at the harbor and pelicans and gulls would come straight at us.

Sedona AZ (December 3, 2014) – The Sedona Heritage Museum is hosting their annual “Christmas in the Park” FREE open house on Saturday, December 13 from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. The event extends free admission to the museum and a day filled with special free activities as a holiday gift to residents and visitors. Sedona AZ (December 1, 2014) – On November 27, 2014, a 61-year-old Tucson woman suffered a fatal fall while hiking near the Devil’s Bridge outside Sedona in the Coconino National Forest. Verde Valley AZ (December 1, 2014) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office will be TESTING the Emergency Notification System (ENS), also known as Code Red, this Wednesday, December 3rd, by calling the entire community. The calls will begin at 10 AM and will continue until the entire database has been attempted. Camp Verde AZ (November 29, 2014) – On November 26, 2104, around 2:30 AM, deputies saw a black passenger car travelling in excess of 80 mph in a 65 mph speed zone on north I 17 in Camp Verde. The vehicle exited towards highway 260 and ran a red light as it entered the highway. Due to the violations, deputies stopped the vehicle and contacted the driver, Marie Bonnesen, age 31 from Peoria. The vehicle also contained 2 passengers identified as Xavier Alaniz, 24 years of age from Goodyear, and Harley Partch, 20 years of age from Avondale.
