Cornville AZ (November 4, 2015) – On November 4, 2015, at approximately 7AM, YCSO deputies were dispatched to a head on collision on Cornville Road between Page Springs Road and Beaverhead Flat Road, Cornville. A black over white 2011 BMW Mini Cooper, driving west on Cornville Road, crossed over the center line and collided with a red 2015 Hyundai sedan travelling in the east bound lane. A third vehicle, described as a silver 2005 Acura, veered off the roadway to avoid the collision and crashed into the guardrail.

Sedona AZ (November 4, 2015) – The Sedona Heritage Museum will host a history presentation and artist’s demonstration on Mata Ortiz pottery on Monday, November 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Artist Oralia Lopeza has set the standard in Mata Ortiz for finely executed geometric pottery designs and will be demonstrating her intricate painting skills. Some of her pottery will be available for sale at prices similar to direct prices in her village.

Clarkdale AZ (November 3, 2015) – The Clarkdale Planning Commission will host a community meeting to discuss the Focus Area Plan for the portion of SR 89A between Clarkdale Parkway and the Centerville Roundabout on Friday, November 13 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Men’s Lounge of the Clark Memorial Clubhouse at 19 N. Ninth Street in Clarkdale. Residents of the area are invited to attend to participate in this planning process.
