The Green Light band returns to Vino Di Sedona Friday, Oct. 7 from 7-9 p.m.The band, will be joined by virtuoso saxophonist Raul (El Jefe’) Bibiano for this gig. El Jefe’ has just relocated to Sedona from Las Vegas, Nevada and is sure to soon make a name for himself in the Sedona music scene.He brings to the table numerous years of experience playing with some of the top Las Vegas acts in the country. Snow Bowl is on the right edge of the slopes and it is carved into Agassiz Peak which is only a few hundred feet lower than Humphreys Peak which is upslope from where I took this photo. Sedona AZ (October 4, 2016) – The Sedona Heritage Museum’s publishing arm, Sedona Heritage Publishing, is proud to announce the release of their latest book, “Through the Camera Lens of a One Room School Teacher”. The small book is a collection of photos and annotations by Ruth Woolf (Jordan), created in 1922-23 while she was in her first teaching position at the Beaver Creek School near Sedona.With her little box camera, she captured wonderful images, but best of all, she wrote thoughtful and descriptive commentary on the back of each photo, providing insights into the place, people and time.
