If you have any questions please call the Finance Dept. at 928.204.7185.” This statement is false as there is NO adopted rate increase for FY 18-19 to rescind.
Sedona AZ (August 30, 2018) – A homeowner in the Les Springs sub-division awoke early this morning to the sound of a smoke detector. Upon investigation, the homeowner discovered that the recreational vehicle in the garage was on fire. Thinking quickly, he was able to pull the RV out of the garage. When firefighters from the Sedona Fire District arrived they were able to extinguish the fire and remove smoke from the structure.

Sedona AZ (August 29, 2018) – If you have a piece of wood and a wood carving knife, come to Monday at the Museum at Sedona Heritage Museum on Monday, September 10th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and join the Verde Valley Woodcarvers. Hundreds of people have tried their hand at carving with this group since its founding in 1997 by Norm Knight. The group consists of carvers ranging from beginners to master carvers. Come by with your own equipment or just come to watch these artisans do relief carving, chip carving, and bark carving. There is no fee for this demonstration.

Reader discrection advised.Cottonwood AZ (August 28, 2018) – Just after 2 AM on the morning of August 28, deputies were assigned to investigate an anonymous tip regarding the apparent abuse of a calf at an unknown location. Deputies reviewed a video tape that was being shared on different social media sites and saw 2 males abusing a calf and discharging a firearm near its head. Suspects were eventually identified as 23-year-old Kyle Abrigo and 19-year-old Nathan Chambliss. Both are Cottonwood residents.
