… of all the green grass and well-tended property that surrounds me … our gang of crows occasionally alight on the 11th tee box and spend some time looking for food in the grass and strut around like they are in charge … in fact they seem to believe that they are. Anyhow, there wasn’t much flying or moving, so whilst sitting on the bench I just turned a bit and ripped some shots of this guy as he strutted around. One was perched inside the large Desert Olive bush in the yard and was looking for birds and she let this guy have full reign of the area … also they tend to dive bomb her when they are gathering in the trees, so that is a likely factor too. He does look like he is on a mission though …

It was a terrific day and a lot accomplished … ISO 100 group over tonight for dinner and sharing images. Got good news today, Mariah will once again have a propeller on September 17th … YAY!!!

Into the weekend for me so closing out the day and week … back Monday morning if all goes well … lots of living to do each day and always our choice how we live and perceive it … choose a that which we will give you a smile when you look back on your day.

    Cheers

    Ted

… hold high your head and be an honest man.
May kindness guide your daily steps, and in each deed and thought
Let Christ’s sweet soul always reflect itself,
And love your fellow men as I love you.
May words unkind and false ne’er pass your lips,
Nor harsh and low ambitions drive you on.

Yes, That Was Biden at the
    State of the Union Address

    By Tommy Acosta
It was about three minutes into President Biden’s speech in his State of the Union address when I found myself searching for clues as to the speaker’s real identity. “It just couldn’t be him,” I thought. An imposter had taken his place and was getting away with it!” Where was the stumbling, fumbling, bumbling President America has grown to love? What the heck was going on? His demeaner was confident. He was lucid. He did not lose himself somewhere in his mind between sentences. He hardly referred to his notes and went on delivering his message in an almost totally coherent way. He even went off script when Republican hecklers using their doth-the-lady-protest too-loud defense against him, protesting loudly after being accused by Biden that they were out to wipeout Medicare and Social Security.
