Flagstaff AZ (November 23, 2018) – People wanting to collect live trees, known as wildings, from Coconino National Forest may buy their permits and collect the trees until Dec. 2.There are typically two wildings permit seasons, one in the fall and another in the spring, for approximately one month while the plants are dormant. Phoenix AZ (November 22, 2018) – Arizona wildlife watchers will be in for a special treat when the bald eagle nesting season begins. The Arizona Game and Fish Department and its conservation partners will launch a new “eagle cam” sometime in mid-December. The public is asked to please not approach bald eagle nests and closure areas during the nesting season. Any disturbance of the nest, including nearby human activity, may cause the eagles to abandon it and not breed. There were actually five balloons in the air, but a crop got rid of two of them.
