Sedona AZ (September 21, 2017) – Sedona Fire District (SFD) personnel were dispatched to a mountain rescue in the Bell Rock area of the Coconino National Forest near the Village of Oak Creek at 5:11pm. While initial reports indicated the female subject was near the parking lot, it was later determined through a Japanese interpreter that the subject was actually near the top of Bell Rock and sustained several critical injuries.

Instead here is my all time favorite of a Great Blue Heron, heading down the road at end of day. I have a 24 x 48 of this one in my home and never tire of it and the quiet message of life and hope that it engenders in me.
Sedona AZ (September 21, 2017) – Filmgoers in Sedona will unite with audiences in over 300 cities spanning six continents to view and judge the work of the next generation of filmmakers from around the world when the 20th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival screens at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre, Sept. 29-Oct. 4, hosted by the Sedona International Film Festival.Manhattan Short is the only event of its kind. Sedona AZ (September 21, 2017) – In celebration of National Public Lands Day and to encourage a shared sense of land stewardship, the Forest Service announces another “fee free day” Sept. 30(Saturday), along with several volunteer events. Day use fees will be waived at all standard amenity fee sites operated by the Forest Service including the Red Rock Pass. This includes access to Palatki and Honanki Ruins, V-Bar-V Cultural Site and approximately 300 miles of multiple-use trails.
