Cottonwood AZ (July 26, 2014) – The Amigos del Verde Valley Volunteer Coalition today announced its new “Amigos Heart-to-Heart Seniors’ Yard Adoption and Beautification Programs” to benefit low income and elderly homeowners in Cottonwood, Clarkdale and the Verde Villages with ongoing yard care and beautification. These community volunteer programs are designed to help seniors prevent overgrown yards; avoid the risks of injury and heat-related illnesses if they attempt to perform the yard work themselves; and to increase seniors’ pride in their homes while beautifying the entire neighborhood.

Sedona AZ (July 26, 2014) – For the first time in more than three decades, comedy legends Monty Python will perform live on stage together. Broadcast from London’s O2 Arena, “Monty Python Live (mostly)” — also known as “The Last Night of Monty Python” — will play in cinemas around the globe, including the Mary D. Clarkdale AZ (July 25, 2014) – Bear Schutz is returning to Made In Clarkdale’s Corner Gallery in August and he is bringing some of his friends and family with him. Sedona AZ (July 24, 2014) – The Slide Fire closure area has been revised to include only those areas which currently pose danger to the public, resulting in Forest Road 535 and 536 opening. The area closure is part of standard operations procedure, which helps to protect the public from entering into an area that poses a threat due to ongoing wildfire activity and/or rehabilitation efforts.
