The last one I finished about ten minutes ago and it was the nicest of the ones I cut today so a quick photo of it, not quite the quality photo I like but it shows you one very beautiful black crystal opal with full and intense color, mostly a neon sign quality red.

Drivers need to be alert, slow down and not pass plowsVerde Valley AZ (January 4, 2016) – Every winter, snowplows play an essential public safety role by clearing snow and ice on Arizona roadways. But when motorists fail to give plows enough room and aren’t careful when traveling near these oversized vehicles, it creates a hazard and makes it more difficult for operators to perform what’s already a challenging job.
By Ted GrussingA fun and crazy weekend; Saturday I took my biennial flight review in Russ’ Katana Motorglider (mine is still not flying) and really enjoyed flying it. A heavier aircraft than mine and a roomier cockpit … Russ was not amenable to a trade :+) Down to the ponds after that and got some great Canvasback shots. Home to One and then out to dinner at Pizza Lisa … caramelized onions on pizza are amazing.

Most poets are either slam poets or page poets; he is both. In non-fiction he publishes both as journalist and as nature essayist.

By Ted GrussingA fun day visiting with friends, outings with One, a couple hours sorting through opal I have not looked at in years, stops to mail packages, and visiting friends in West Sedona, down to the ponds, home and over to the Hilton for dinner. Worked on photos and spent quality time with Dexter as things are resolving in season 8; will finish the season tomorrow night … still not sure about going to the Hilton for New Years, but always love Anthony’s concerts and be fun to see how he does as a DJ.
