I was cruising the ridgeline from Agassiz Peak to Humphreys Peak. Humphreys Peak is on the far left of the image and at 12,633’ is the highest point in Arizona. I spent quite a bit of time this afternoon cruising the slopes and shot this on my last pass before heading home. I started my runs a few hundred feet above the peaks and worked my way down. Agassiz is the peak visible in this shot and is the peak that you see when coming North on I-17 … it is only a few hundred feet lower…

Prescott AZ (February 17, 2018) – Following an email notification, a Prescott resident recently received a priority mail envelope with instructions on enrolling in a secret shopper program providing ‘undercover’ surveys of local businesses. Also included in the envelope was a check for $2972.00 made out the homeowner. “John” instructs the participant to cash the check and use a portion of the cash for ‘expenses’ when conducting the survey. Additionally, a major portion of the money is designated for the purchase of (4) pre-paid credit cards at $650 each, a total of $2600.

Cottonwood AZ (February 16, 2018) – On Friday February 16th, at approximately 6:15 am, the Verde Valley Fire District responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy260 & Western Dr.VVFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident blocking the East bound lanes of Hwy260. On arrival crews found 1 vehicle, with heavy damage to the front end, and 1 occupant out of the vehicle sitting on the sidewalk. The occupant had minor injuries and was evaluated by paramedics but did not need transport to a hospital.
