    Motor Vehicle Accident, Hwy. 260 and Western Drive

    logo_verdevalleyfiredistrictCottonwood AZ (February 16, 2018) – On Friday February 16th, at approximately 6:15 am, the Verde Valley Fire District responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy260 & Western Dr.

    VVFD was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident blocking the East bound lanes of Hwy260. On arrival crews found 1 vehicle, with heavy damage to the front end, and 1 occupant out of the vehicle sitting on the sidewalk. The occupant had minor injuries and was evaluated by paramedics but did not need transport to a hospital.

    Cottonwood Fire and Medical Department, YCSO and DPS were also on scene.

    VVFD would like to remind people about the importance of wearing seat belts. The outcome of this accident would have been much worse if the occupant of the vehicle was not wearing their seatbelt.
