New encaustic paintings by Ardis Harsche

Jerome AZ (February 21, 2018) – Gallery 527 in Jerome presents ‘Ancient Journey’, new encaustic work by Ardis Harsche. Her encaustic paintings are filled with symbols of ancient civilizations, primitive animals and vibrant colors. The artist explains, “My encaustic paintings of flowing wax and heavy texture are an expression of my ‘inner awareness’ of art from the stone age to the petroglyphs of Arizona. I invite the viewer to take this ANCIENT JOURNEY as art alone has connected us to our primal ancestors.”

20180221_AncientJourney1Join the group of talented local artists at Gallery 527 on March 3rd from 5 to 8pm to celebrate this much anticipated show. Stop by for an evening of art, conversation, food and wine. The town will be filled with First Saturday Art Walk surprises.
