Sedona AZ (May 16, 2018) – Shortly after 8pm. Tuesday evening, multiple callers reported a fully involved structure fire near 3500 N State Route 89 in Oak Creek Canyon. Responding firefighters encountered a fully involved cabin with fire spreading to nearby brush and trees. “Due to the remote location, access and water supply proved difficult while battling this fire,” said Fire Marshal Jon Davis. First arriving units recognized the challenging nature of the fire and immediately requested additional resources from the United States Forest Service (USFS).
