Sedona AZ (March 21, 2013) – On March 20, 2013 at 11:45 p.m., Sedona Police responded to Mooney’s Pub on SR 179 regarding a theft. A description of the suspect and his vehicle was given to officers, who a short time later, saw a vehicle matching the description of the suspect’s on SR179 and Schnebly Hill Road. Sedona AZ (March 21, 2013) – The deadline of April 15 is soon approaching for those veterans and families of veterans wishing to have their names or the names of their loved ones inscribed on the granite walls for the grand opening of the Sedona Military Service Park. The second engraving will not take place until approximately August 2013. Please contact the Sedona Parks and Recreation Department at (928) 282-7098 to receive the inscription application. It is also available at www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks and it clearly explains what documentation to provide with the application.

Cottonwood AZ (March 20, 2013) – The City of Cottonwood, the City of Sedona, VFW and Community Counts have partnered together to host the Second Annual Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day which will be held on Saturday, March 30th at the Cottonwood Kid’s Park. The aircraft is participating in an historic “war-bird” fly-in in Phoenix that weekend along with several dozen military trainer type aircraft, such as T-34’s and T-36’s which will also fly into Sedona. Sedona AZ (March 19, 2013) – The City of Sedona Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking local food vendors for the second annual Fourth of July Laser Light Show on Thursday, July 4, 2013, which begins at 8:45 p.m. at Posse Grounds Park. Interested restaurants/businesses must submit an application; however, it does not guarantee the right to serve food at this event.
