Sedona AZ (March 31, 2015) – Movin’ On Gallery in Hillside Sedona center is pleased to announce that painter Rick Gandolfo and photographer Jim Peterson will be the featured artists for April.  Both artists will be showing an extensive selection of their recent works.  In addition, the venue will exhibit a wide variety of works by three fine guest artists during the month.

Sedona AZ (March 30, 2015) – The 12th Annual Sedona Open Studios Tour is the annual celebration of the arts in the greater Verde Valley. The free event runs from 10 am to 5 pm daily, April 24-26. Sedona AZ (March 30, 2015) – There are only two days remaining to opt-out from the Arizona Public Service Smart Meter Program. Here’s how to do it. Rimrock AZ (March 29, 2015) – UPDATE – The suspect, formally a person-of-interest identified as Manuel Lopez Moncada, was taken into custody without incident in Rimrock on 03/28/15 at approximately 2200 hours. He called to turn himself in and has admitted involvement in the murder of his wife, Maria (first name corrected) “Cecilia” Nava Pila. Further details expected this week. Lopez-Moncada was booked at the Camp Verde Verde Detention Center on a charge of Murder – bond has not been set.

By Ted Grussing … so at about 1:30AM my head was drooping and I did not get the missive out last night … head is dropping again, but will get one out. I like the agility of the Pelican in flight ,  cranking and banking preparing for a rapid descent to the water far below him and the gull quietly cruising overhead, perhaps waiting to see what the pelican gets … or not … the constant search for food to sustain life … and some fun cruising when basic needs fulfilled.
