We begin the new year displaying the art work through March of three accomplished artists in our City Hall Art Rotation program. To view any of these exhibits, please make an appointment to see works by watercolor artist Mary Dove, landscape artist Ellen Perantoni and fabric artist Margaret Anderson.

Sedona AZ (January 12, 2016) – “Tru” — the one-man show about the life of the late Truman Capote — will make its Sedona debut on the Goldenstein Stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre. There will be three performances Jan. 22-24, presented by the Sedona International Film Festival.This funny and poignant one-man show — starring acclaimed actor Tom Frye — explores the life and times of Truman Capote through his own words. Frye revives the role originally directed by the author Jay Presson Allen.
Flagstaff AZ (January 12, 2016) – Flagstaff Area National Monuments will be joining national park units around the country as they waive entrance fees on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, in recognition of his civil rights efforts. Entrance fees will be waived for all visitors to Sunset Crater Volcano, Walnut Canyon and Wupatki National Monuments on Monday, January 18, 2016. Visitors arriving in the monuments on January 18th will enter free of charge. Sedona AZ (January 12, 2016) – The 46th Annual Sedona St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival is a Free Event held in Uptown Sedona on March 12th. Parade entrants include dignitaries and civic, social, cultural and religious organizations along with area businesses. The Parade is along Jordan Road and begins at 10:30 a.m. The Festival begins immediately following the parade, featuring live entertainment with free children’s and family activities until 3 p.m.
Sedona AZ (January 12, 2016) – The Sedona Heritage Museum will once again present their popular historic sites tours of Oak Creek Canyon’s historic places on March 31, and April 1 and 2.The tours will be narrated by Paul Thompson. Thompson is the grandson of pioneer homesteader Jim Thompson, the Sedona area’s first permanent Anglo settler who came here in 1876, and son of Albert Thompson who wrote many of the stories in the book, “Those Early Days”.
