Clarkdale AZ (November 12, 2013) – On November 5, 2013 the Town of Clarkdale held a Water Fair. The event was well attended, with approximately 50 residents and community members participating. The Fair featured six information tables manned by water experts sharing information with interested visitors. Topics presented included a demonstration water model staffed by Dr. Laurel Lacher, the Town’s hydrogeologist consultant, water rates, xeriscaping, water policy, water infrastructure, the water energy nexus, and a water fact sheet. Camp Verde AZ (November 12, 2013) – This Friday November 15th, The Verde Brewing Company is hosting its first tapping party at its tasting room located in White Hills, at the Boler’s building, 325 S. Sedona AZ (November 11, 2013) – The Sedona Community Foundation held the 2013 Spirit of Sedona awards dinner on Sunday, November 10, at Enchantment Resort.  The Spirit of Sedona is an annual event that honors exceptional displays of local philanthropy and volunteerism and recognizes the Foundation’s nonprofit grant recipients for the year.  The four 2013 Spirit of Sedona honorees received awards designed by a local artist and each of them will choose a charity that will receive a $1,000 donation.  Grants totaling $207,000 were presented to 34 local nonprofit organizations.
