By Ted Grussing … I rather suspect that this little guy/gal doesn’t really care what name we assign to it … it simply is and along with a lot of other tweety birds, sparrows and finches it relishes in the safety of our Desert Olive tree/bushes. No Coopers Hawk is going to penetrate this tightly packed maze of branches … I rather suspect that this is a female Sparrow, but will wait for Eric or someone else to enlighten me. I shot this late afternoon with the new 100/400 and the 1.4 extender on it as Eric wanted to see…

At 10% combustion is not possible … no fire … at 35% spontaneous combustion in rain forests … I kinda like the present 21% which works well for we humans. A recent…
By Ted Grussing … a Great Blue Heron overflew three Canvasbacks as he was crossing the pond to his favorite fishing spot on the other side … the simple elegance of a large predator comfortable in his place in the world … visiting his own grocery store … fresh seafood and ready to eat. I took this shot last Sunday whilst sitting by the side of one of the ponds observing and relaxing among the beautiful creatures and a little sunshine to go along with it.

By Mary Cravets, Business Coach & Speaker Sedona AZ (January 14, 2015) – Recently I heard about a very well-known Business Coach who charged $10,000 for a two-day one-on-one retreat at her home. This is a high, yet reasonable fee for any Coach who can deliver on promised results. This Coach, however, did not deliver the promised results, and instead used the majority of the two days to show off her lavish lifestyle… and then pitch her $25,000 program. As a Business Coach myself, this story just burned me up inside, because this kind of situation reflects on my entire…
By Ted Grussing … and light and a few nice colors describe a late afternoon flight up north last week. I took this shot shortly before we cut a trail back to Sedona so we could land a minute or so before sunset. We climbed up to I think just shy of 15,000’ so that we could get shots of the shadow of the San Francisco Peaks extending outwards almost to the Little Colorado River … anyhow it was pretty cool getting the shot and with the Painted Desert assuming a nice color as well.
