This charge originated from a February 2019 event in which Burch misrepresented his identity to a Yavapai County Deputy to avoid being arrested on another warrant he has. Smith is wanted on a probation Violation Warrant stemming from Felony Criminal Impersonation, and multiple DUI charges.On March 8th 2015, Smith was pulled over by Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office for unsafe driving. Upon being contacted, Smith provided a driver’s license of another person as if it was his own. Smith was arrested for Aggravated DUI with and blood alcohol level of over .20.

By Ted Grussing… I took off early this morning to do a compliance flight for my new ADS-B installation (Automatic Dependent Surveillance) which lets Towers, Air Traffic Controllers and other planes equipped with the systems know who you are, where you are, direction of flight and your speed. Anyhow, I flew down to Prescott as they have an ADS-B system down there and spent some time over the area hoping for a good result. Unfortunately the directions for setup in the software were not right on one crucial setting, so I’ll be flying down there again tomorrow morning to finish it…
Cottonwood AZ (July 2, 2019) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in finding Oscar Omar Atienso-Cruz. Atienso-Cruz has a Felony Warrant for Possession of dangerous drugs for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia. On October 7th, 2004 Atienso-Cruz was stopped for operating a vehicle in Bridgeport, AZ with no tail lights. The vehicle displayed indicators of criminal activity and a drug-detecting K9 was deployed and alerted to the presence of drugs. As a result of the following search, methamphetamine was found on Atienso-Cruz’s person.
Clarkdale AZ (July 2, 2019) – Verde Valley Fire District (VVFD) responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident in the area of 89A and Lisa Street. The vehicle involved was a semi-truck carrying dry cement. The vehicle entered the roundabout and rolled onto the passenger side. The driver of the vehicle stated no injury and refused to be evaluated.

Starting July 1st, Yavapai Silent Witness will be highlighting one fugitive each day in an attempt to garner the public’s assistance in locating these individuals so law enforcement can take them into custody.
