    logo_ycsoPrescott AZ (July 3, 2019) – The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in finding Sasha Rachel Smith.  Smith is wanted on a probation Violation Warrant stemming from Felony Criminal Impersonation, and multiple DUI charges.

    On March 8th 2015, Smith was pulled over by Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office for unsafe driving.  Upon being contacted, Smith provided a driver’s license of another person as if it was his own.  Smith was arrested for Aggravated DUI with and blood alcohol level of over .20.

    Smith is described as a white male, 32 years of age, 509, 135 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.  Smith is transgender and has used the name of Eric Marshall Smith. Smith has a Nationwide extraditable no bond warrant.

    Starting July 1st, Yavapai Silent Witness is highlighting one fugitive each day in an attempt to garner the public’s assistance in locating these individuals so law enforcement can take them into custody.  Each day through July 22nd a new fugitive will be highlighted and a $500.00 cash reward will be offered for information that leads to the arrest of the fugitive.  Nine cases cleared from the last running of this program.

    The Symbolism of Jan. 6

    Don’t mess with symbols. Just ask author Dan Brown’s character Robert Landon. The worth of symbols cannot be measured. Symbols make the world-go-round. Symbols carry the weight of a thousand words and meanings. Symbols represent reality boiled down to the bone. Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
