Well, well, well, it looks like Trump may have pulled off the coup of the century, forcing Iran to the bargaining table and calling for a ceasefire while the players work it out.

I guess I was right once again predicting Iran would crumble and capitulate in the face of America’s annihilating force.

The Ayatollah and his minions knew their days of existing as a human being were soon to be cut short if they did not gracefully give up.

So mission accomplished for those who would not allow Iran access to nuclear weapons.
And who knows, maybe a lasting peace could be achieved between mortal enemies Iran and Israel while Trump sits benevolently between them, encouraging them to play nice, or else..

I knew it was over when I saw the news today that Iran had warned the U.S. before launching a few missiles in Qatar’s direction. That was the signal they were ready to deal.

Iran saved face, no U.S. soldiers were harmed, Trump held out the olive branch, and the combatants grabbed it.

Can one imagine this could ever happen? Not sure why the arms manufacturers would allow it, but it almost seems achievable—if they can be kept satiated.

Maybe they were running out of ammo and needed to replenish their stocks.

For sure, if there is peace finally and it lasts, Trump may get his Nobel Peace Prize after all.

But the job is unfinished. The question remains, though: what will happen between Hamas and Israel? Will the terrible war killing Gaza and Palestine ever come to an end while Hamas still exists?

I just don’t see Hamas capitulating. They are ready to allow every one of the people they still control to die before they will give up.

Even after Gaza and Palestine are turned into a dust bowl of misery and rotting flesh, dead families with nothing left, it appears Hamas will keep firing their AK-47s at the tanks crushing the population of the country they once led.

Will Trump turn his gaze there and somehow get the hostages freed and get a peace deal with Hamas so he could concentrate on creating a beach resort where Gaza once was?

Yup. It’s just friggin’ amazing how masterfully Trump manipulated the chess pieces to get this ceasefire on the books.

I mean, we have to understand that anything could happen to disrupt it and the fighting could resume, but it appears lasting peace maybe could happen.

The arms manufacturers may have to find another source of war to keep their coffers full, but other avenues may arise to keep those bombs booming.

For now, let us celebrate that a ceasefire is apparent and the possibility of peace in the Middle East is within reach.

Trump announces a ceasefire in Iran-Israel war, but status remains unclear as Iran fires missiles https://www.azfamily.com/2025/06/23/iran-says-it-attacked-us-forces-air-base-qatar/

The missiles and bombs may stop falling but the anger remains. The number one cause of wars other than greed is vengeance and vendettas. The latter will surely happen, they always do.

Think you spoke way way too soon on this one! After all “Israel and Iran don’t know what the fuck they are doing” because they are making Trump look like the fool he is! He thinks he can declare a cease fire upon anyone he chooses and they have to abide by him! Ha ha not the way it works by any stretch of his imagination!

JB, I totally agree with your posts here! And I’m still shocked that a president of the US would spout the f-word while speaking to the press. There are still parents who would prefer their kids grow up without public smut. But that’s trump. Cares about no one but himself.

          Blue,
thank you. I encourage you to continue writing your well thought out opinions on here. Don’t be discouraged by the trolls who call you a hater for speaking truth to power. They ignore Trump’s all out public hatred of others and his crimes while calling you the hater. They are all in on the MAGA turd Reich and will lie, gaslight and distort the truth for their Orange Messiah until they are Bluer in their faces and only accept the propaganda and lies Trump and his Propaganda Machine tell them is the truth without ever presenting one iota of proof. It’s like talking to Trumps “big beautiful waste of time money and resources wall” that falls down in the wind! Thanks again for speaking out and up!

Now Trump, Vance and MAGA politicians are disputing INTEL reports that show far less than the “obliteration” of Iran’s nuclear enrichment sites. They’re telling anyone who questions their evidence less claims that they “don’t appreciate the service members who carried out the strike” (despite their being the most disrespectful of anyone I know of to our military personnel past and present)They’re treating their constituents as they did Zelenskyy when they attempted “good cop”- “bad cop” him on live TV! They’re saying anyone doubting their assessment are: “liars” “horrible journalists” “disrespectful” etc. There has not been an on scene intelligence assessment of any of the sites recently bombed except by high altitude surveillance flights and the Iranians themselves. So just like Johnson and Nixon did during the American War Upon Vietnam, they lie and yet insist upon 100% fealty and acceptance of what they lie about. Not a difficult thing for MAGA sycophantic loyalists as they already give 100% allegiance and believe everything they are told by the Criminal running our country into the ground! It might behoove them to read “A Bright Shining Lie” written by Neil Sheehan, a former New York Times reporter, about U.S. Army lieutenant colonel John Paul Vann (killed in action) and the United States’ involvement in the Vietnam War as well as the “Pentagon Papers”

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentagon_Papers

Anything truthfully written about the Watergate break ins, Iran Contra, Blow job Gate, the fabrication of evidence that led us to war in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan with the resulting rise of ISIL insurgents and the Caliphate, anything accurately depicting the Israeli Government’s (Not the Jewish people per say although they too are Jews) genocide of the Palestinian people and the actual “obliteration” of everything and everyone in Gaza. Which is precisely what Netanyahu has planned for Iran. Just imagine the ease of which their settler’s can move into and onto the lands belonging to the Palestinians and Iranians if there is nobody left alive or willing to contest it. Surely beats having to threaten them off of their rightful and historical occupied lands using armed mobs of “settlers” to run them off or the IDF to do so and bomb and or bulldoze them and their property into piles of rubble awaiting the day it can be swept away (likely into the Tyrrhenian Sea like Beirut has done repeatedly) and the “build baby building” can begin! Reminds me of the way Serbian War Criminals would decimate every single living person and creature they could find, didn’t force into sexual slavery or put into mass graves or concentration camps, only to move displaced Serbian civilians (sometimes their own families) into the homes and businesses of the Bosniak civilians (all of which have Slavic and Turkish blood lines that intertwined with the very people they slaughtered- kind of like Palestinians and Israeli’s who shared blood lines prior to the biblical hostilities that have torn them apart and made them enemies). Personally I could not even out of desperation move into the lands or homes of others who have been genocidally massacred even though ALL Americans (including myself) do so with lands that belonged to the Tribes who occupied them until we killed them en mass and forced them out of them. For the record my ancestors did not move to America during it’s “settlement .” I have temporarily taken up shelter in in blown up homes and other buildings of people who were murdered en mass as a tactical advantage because of location and or elevation and the ability to ambush or surveil enemy forces. The second war in Iraq proved this tactic to be risky as many “high ground “ structures and terrain were already occupied by insurgents from the top floors down. The war in Ukraine much like the fire bombings of Dresden and Danzig during WWII has made the practice even more dangerous to everyone on the battlefield civilian and soldier, friend and foe!
Iran is not finished with Israel nor America despite whatever “missile” ceasefire agreement may or may not be in place. Our troops and civilians in the region are at increased risk of insurgent/terrorist attacks against them. The surviving citizens of Gaza and Iran do not blame the terrorist and militants of their country for their demise. No- they blame the US and Israeli governments for attacking their sovereignty and security and many of them will never forget and will eventually take up arms of retaliation and vengeance. Happens in most every conflict, one side trying to right what they perceive to be a wrong against their side during a previous conflict “an eye for an eye” so to speak. It’s happening right here in M’erica and many other places around the world as I write this. That’s right I said “around” not “across” or “horizontally” as some people would.

So much for the Constitution and the 1st Amendment right to Freedom of the Press if we cannot question our elected public servants or even Kings? Oh and by the way, every second we have troops forward deployed is raising the Federal Debt Ceiling by the millions of dollars! Probably going to have to cut more life saving Medicare and Medicade from his Big Grifting Bill!

Uproar Over Leaked Intelligence Underlines Murky View of Iran Strikes
Trump’s claims of crippling damage don’t address whether Tehran moved a stockpile of highly enriched uranium

      https://apple.news/A4uFy5kCJRaibZXcG3S6UiQ

Guess it is more important to investigate who leaked the information than the actual assessment of the damage that may or may not have been inflicted. Surely SIGINT
picked up coming out of Iran has indicated the level of damage sustained at each facility bombed. Quite funny how the Ayatollah hid in his bunker but says Iranians never surrender just like Trump did during the BLM marches in DC that he later used excessive force to disperse so he could hold a book he’s never read a word of upside down. Like I’ve always said all tyrants are cowards who have others do their dirty deeds and none of them retire happily the usual retire early though and usually not by choice. The Revolutionary Guard and Quds doesn’t seem to have gotten the message on the ceasefire and are conducting a purge of non loyalist in preparation to go on the offensive.

Trump says he’s a No War President but he certainly likes to take sides especially with tyrannical regimes rather than our allies and seems to be a fan of killing long distance utilizing drone and missile strikes rather than slugging it out on the ground. Both are considered acts of war and usually end up in boots on the ground so he is fooling nobody but himself. Bragging about “obliterating targets” has only served to embolden the Iranian regime and its proxies. Russia and China are watching intently from the sidelines. If troops do end up on the ground in Iran they will ensure they do not succeed and every move made costs us two steps back. They did so in Iraq and Syria and will most certainly do so with Iran.

There is a movement happening in the A.I. universe that few are talking about but soon almost everyone that uses it, will. People are moving beyond using their A.I. as tools for research, writing, editing, etc. and are now beginning to use their A.I.s for other things, like advice, conversation and even counseling.
