Sedona, AZ –  It was belief that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction that led us into war with Iraq.

It’s suspicion that Iran seeks to build a nuclear warhead that has led us into war with them.
As it turned out, Saddam had no weapons of mass destruction.

Will it be the same with Iran?

It really makes no difference. The die is cast. The trigger has been pulled. The bombs have been dropped. Devastation looms over Iran, and they had best capitulate rather than escalate and dance to the drummer’s Trumpian beat.

If Iran is so stupid as to mount an attack against U.S. interests, it would be making the same mistake Hamas did when initiating its Oct. 7 massacre in Israel—a move that led to the total annihilation of Palestine and Gaza.

If they don’t bend to the will of the U.S. and Israel, their leadership will be systematically whittled down until there are no more leaders left in Iran to rule their country.

Trump ain’t fooling around, and the Iranian regime has to know this by now.

They are in a space where there is no room, no choice but to capitulate—and give the West and its allies what they want: the total abandonment of their nuclear ambitions.

Meanwhile, we all sit in front of our devices, waiting for the next shoe to drop. Will Iran blink? Will Trump blink?

And then there is China and Russia, stealth fully sitting on the sidelines, waiting for the U.S. to entangle itself in a morass of chaos and death.

It stands to reason: if Iran doesn’t kneel and dares to retaliate, the leadership will be eliminated—one set after another—until only the army kitchen cook is left to lead.

    Worst-case scenario?

    Sedona Gift Shop

Iran attacks one of our Middle East bases and draws us into a ground war of attrition.

When our soldiers begin to die, and the bodies are shipped home, there will be electoral hell to pay for Trump and for those who supported his decision to strike first.

The premise that Iran would have used a nuke if allowed to complete one is flawed.
Could they be that reckless—to set one off in Israel, knowing what would follow?

The U.S. and Israel would rain down a few dozen nukes. There would be nothing left of Iran—and those who once lived there. Iran knows that. They can’t be that stupid not to know so.

What remains? Just those pesky radioactive clouds drifting across the globe—poisoning almost every corner of the Earth. That’s what we’d be left to mop up.

    shutterstock 402842584

Iran, now known as the most dangerous terrorist country on the planet, likely won’t keep that title for long. Most probably, they’ll buckle at the last minute and heed Trump’s order.

    But there’s another nightmare brewing.

What if Russia or China decides to supply Iran with a few dozen hypersonic missiles?
What if those missiles are used to sink U.S. ships in the Strait of Hormuz?

Let’s say an aircraft carrier or two are taken out—and we trace the origin back to Russia or China?

Now we’re talking about truly apocalyptic consequences: retaliation against not one, but two well-armed, resolute, nuclear powers.

The Iranian leadership—whatever remains of it—must come to grips with this reality.
If they don’t want to suffer the same fate as Gaza and Palestine, they need to play ball.
Their collective national ego may take a hit, sure.

But anything—anything—is better than complete and utter destruction.

Your first 2 statements hold the Lies that the US sociopaths used to begin their wars of “regime change.” The rest of the article is wrong, wrong, wrong. First and foremost, the “most dangerous terrorist” nation on the planet by leaps and bounds is the USA. But, like Britain and the German Nazis, the US empire is crumbling. Shared Power is the future paradigm. Iran will not, can not kneel down to the faltering old heggemon. NO evidence of any Iranian nuclear weapons [like Iracian WMD] is mud in Trump’s eye – for all the world to see.

        Floyd,
great response to Tommy’s brain teaser. All of the colonizing nations eventually meet their doom and are forced to downsize on their land grabs. However this is usually only after they rape, pillage and burn the lands and people they have temporarily conquered. I am in NO way an M’erica First Moron but I do believe all countries have the inherent right to defend themselves against aggressions of their sovereignty as is the case in Ukraine and was in Bosnia. I DON’T believe in striking other countries based upon the statements of Criminal POTUSi who lie dozens of times daily to their constituents. Following 9/11 had the US stuck to its stated goal of eliminating Bin Laden and his cronies in all things terroristic rather than concocting excuses to invade Iraq “Again Again” we would have had thousands more troops to do the job in Afghanistan likely rapidly succeeded with that original goal rather than being drawn into M’erica’s longest war (to date). Iran will prove to be longer and deadly for our troops. They know they are unable to successfully go on the defensive so they will most likely go on the offensive which is far more difficult to defend against. They will hit American and Israeli targets anywhere and everywhere they find them. They just launched missiles at our troops in Iraq and Qatar. They know where we are based, where our embassies are and where our citizens live and work overseas. No way we can protect everything and everyone everywhere all at once. They have forces in Africa, throughout Europe and the entire SW Asian region. They have watched our troops for decades, studying their movements and equipment. They will prove to be every bit as difficult to combat as the NVA and VC were in our war on Vietnam only on a much larger scale.

Come on come on you big strong men Uncle Sam needs your help again ……..never mind.
Before this new “war” started (do not say “war” in Russia) I would think that the president was going to end President Zelensky’s Ukraine war in 24 hours after he was elected. Oops I forgot that our president pushed him while telling the Ukrainian president “…you have no cards at the table.” 24 hours will take a little longer…..

You mean “Big Strong Very Young Men” maybe? Most GI’s who do the actual fighting are 18-25 years young. Not sure what you mean by

But this war could easily become war with Russia even China. Trump thinks he’s Putin’s pal but he’s really Putin’s chump doing Putin’s biding out of greed and or ignorance. Zelenskyy showed Trump and Putin he most definitely did have the cards when he launched his covert drone assault upon Russia’s strategic bombers. Setting Rusher back several bombers and several billion Rubles. Putin is also out some 1 million KIA while Ukraines numbers are half that.

Israel expands war against Iran to target symbols of its power, including a notorious prison https://www.azfamily.com/2025/06/23/iran-launches-missiles-drones-israel-wake-us-strikes-its-nuclear-targets/

Both Israel and the US have stated that their strategic goal was to prevent Iran from possessing nuclear weapons. Then they added the Internationally illegal and immoral assassination of the Ayatollah, then declared the trigger pullers (grunts) and now a prison where prisoners were literally sitting ducks. Even saw the Israeli military footage of them taking out a fleeing pick up truck with sidewinder missiles just for funsies. The Israeli Government has become the war criminal monsters that their country was created to combat so that “Never Again” could happen. The US is in no way any better with its cowardly ability to fight our enemies from thousands of miles away rather than face to face. Nobody seems to recall the true enemy of man-Fascist and Fascism and rather seem to embrace being the very monsters we have sent men and women to fight and die against since WWI . Yes Iran is a known terror state and supporter. They are also deeply aligned with China, N Korea, Russia, Yemen and Turkey strategically and militarily. They have US and Israeli blood on their hands but we have Iranian blood upon ours as well. We have troops on what they consider Islamic Lands which is a stick in they eye to them. We have repeatedly threatened to permanently take over their oil fields and those of many other Arab/Persian countries.
If the goal was to eliminate the ability of Iran to possess nuclear weapons then Israel and the US have done what they claimed was their strategic goal. Adding other targets of opportunity to that is proof positive that this is not and was not the sole purpose for starting a war with a Sovereign Nation, which is also considered a crime like not advising Congress that we were going to do so.

The Bravery Of Being Out Of Range”

      You have a natural tendency
      To squeeze off a shot
      You’re good fun at parties
      You wear the right masks
      You’re old but you still
Like a laugh in the locker room
      You can’t abide change
You’re at home on the range
      You opened your suitcase
      Behind the old workings
      To show off the magnum
      You deafened the canyon
      To comfort a friend
      Only upstaged in the end
      By the Uzi machine gun
      Does the recoil remind you
      Remind you of sex
Old man what the hell you gonna kill next
Old timer who you gonna kill next
I looked over Jordan and what did I see
Saw a U.S. Marine in a pile of debris
      I swam in your pools
And lay under your palm trees
I looked in the eyes of the Indian
Who lay on the Federal Building steps
And through the range finder over the hill
I saw the frontline boys popping their pills
Sick of the mess they find
      On their desert stage
And the bravery of being out of range
      Yeah the question is vexed
Old man what the hell you gonna kill next
Old timer who you gonna kill next
      Hey bartender over here
      Two more shots
      And two more beers
Sir turn up the TV sound
The war has started on the ground
Just love those laser guided bombs
      They’re really great
      For righting wrongs
      You hit the target
      And win the game
      From bars 3,000 miles away
      3,000 miles away
      We play the game
With the bravery of being out of range
      We zap and maim
With the bravery of being out of range
      We strafe the train
With the bravery of being out of range
      We gained terrain
With the bravery of being out of range
With the bravery of being out of range
      We play the game
With the bravery of being out of range

One only need ask Sir Ahmed Salman Rushdie how Iran plays the long game. And they’re certainly not finished with him so long as he breathes O2. Ceasefires be damned! Iran and heir allies could care less about them. If it takes 1,000 years to achieve justice in their minds then it takes 1,000 years. Russia and China are the exact same way. Good luck trying to use diplomacy too when we were already engaged in Diplomatic talks with Tehran and yet decided to invade their sovereignty and bomb them while supposedly working toward a last resolution to their Nuclear desires. Guess that’s where Trump’s multi billion dollar investors in Qatar come in? They’ll do the work to attempt to calm things down and Trump will get his long lusted after peace prize for the work of another Jumbo Max gifting, Bitcoin and Trump Resort investing country.

Like the IRA used to say, “ we only have to be lucky once, they have to be lucky always“ Persians have a similar phrase-

“Kine shotori [dâshtan]” (holding a grudge like a camel): This idiom highlights the Iranian recognition of holding onto anger and seeking vengeance, suggesting a patient, long-term approach to settling scores, much like a camel is believed to hold a grudge and wait for the right moment to get revenge.

Good Luck and Good Night as they say!

There is a movement happening in the A.I. universe that few are talking about but soon almost everyone that uses it, will. People are moving beyond using their A.I. as tools for research, writing, editing, etc. and are now beginning to use their A.I.s for other things, like advice, conversation and even counseling.
