Wilding permits will be issued beginning this Friday until Friday, May 17, and are valid for plant collection through Sunday May 19. Camp Verde AZ (April 18, 2013) – The Ladders bald eagle closure area in Verde Valley re-opened to the public March 30, earlier than normally scheduled and entry to the Ladders area is now permitted. The area is typically closed from December 1 through June 30 each year to reduce human disturbances to the eagles during their nesting season, which can cause eagles to abandon their eggs.
