Information and Perspective by Warren Woodward(December 9, 2014) I was very suspicious of the “smart” meter microwave radiation measurements that were in the “smart” meter study recently completed by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). So for $135 new, I bought the exact same type of measuring device that was used in the study and compared it with other, more costly and accurate measuring devices. As you’ll see in my video, the Tenmars TM-195 used in the ADHS study is grossly inaccurate. Like the study itself, it’s so bad it’s scandalous.

By Ted Grussing … I did more than just take photos of Derek at the Grand Canyon taking photos and took a few of my own. It was a fabulous day with low clouds wreathing themselves around prominent rocks and formations in the canyon and holes in the cloud cover provided some beautiful highlighting of the rock faces too. This is a view looking upstream and you can see portions of the Colorado River left center in the image. I wasn’t paying much attention to what lookouts we were at as Derek was doing the driving … somewhere up there…
By Ted Grussing … of clouds … such were conditions up on the plateau today. After church I headed up to the airport without a clue as to where I was going to go or what I was going to shoot. As soon as I had visibility looking north over the plateau there was no question as to where I was headed. The San Francisco Peaks had a good covering of snow and in twenty minutes I was up there at 14,000’ and got many cool shots of the peaks. Much of the plateau was covered with haze domes and…

By Marianna Hartsong, Sedona Resident(December 6, 2014) Ladies and gentlemen; There is really only one question to address at your meeting: when to start the removal of Smart Meters in Arizona. Attached is a well-documented article on how my health, that of my bees, and my hens and my plants has been affected since the deployment of Smart Meters in Sedona in April of 2014. It has much research and back-up info at the end that should also be required reading for you and your colleagues. Until I was struck down, I knew nothing about the dangers of Smart Meters.…
By Warren Woodward, Sedona Resident(December 5, 2014) Manager, Mayor & Council Members, Whose idea was it for Ginger Graham to send out a press release uncritically repeating the ADHS propaganda? I am amazed. First it was Nick Gioello sending out the CCST propaganda 2 years ago when “smart” meters arrived on Council’s radar screen, and now this. At least Gioello’s nonsense only went out to a small number.

By Ted Grussing In the spirit of Sean Penn and Ben Stiller in the movie “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”, I would like to offer you an image for the cover of another great magazine … it captures the “quintessence” of the magazine, one of your contributing photographers in the field at the edge of a cliff at the Grand Canyon today capturing more images for your subscribers and readers. Please consider it, and if not this, perhaps the image that Derek shot about two hours later which is also attached … the back cover to go with this…
By Warren Woodward, Sedona Resident(December 4, 2014) The ACC has issued some proposals for people who refuse “smart” meters (here: http://images.edocket.azcc.gov/docketpdf/0000158380.pdf) I have written 2 letters in response. [Editor’s note: both letters are in this document.] The first one is my motion to the Judge assigned to the docket, asking her to either end the “smart” meter program or hold an evidentiary hearing so that APS would be under oath (for a change!). In this letter I expose what looks to me like ACC complicity in fraud. The second one is my response to the proposals.
Sedona AZ (December 4, 2014) – Searchers believe they have located the skeletal remains of 22 year old Thomas Lang who was originally reported as an overdue hiker on December 18, 2013. Thomas’s parents have spent many weekends since the formal search was suspended, hiking areas where they believe their son might be located. On Saturday, November 29, 2014 Thomas’ parents were searching for their son in the Secret Canyon area located within Yavapai County. Thomas’ mother, called the Coconino County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue advising she believed she found a jacket and shoes that possibly belonged to her son.
By Ted Grussing … it really was, but shooting into the sun with incredibly bright reflections off the water can score you a big mess on your film or digital sensor … it is known as blown highlights where you get a sea of pure white with no detail. How to get a nice shot that captures the beauty and an aura of mystery? Set your camera to manual mode, shut the lens down as far as you can ( I used f22), lower your ISO to minimize noise in the shadows (I used ISO 100), bump the shutter speed…
By Ted Grussing … frequently one thinks speed, speed, speed to get great wildlife shots … stop the action and get a fabulous freeze and I frequently shoot that way at the ponds and elsewhere because of the angles I am shooting at. Every once in a while though an opportunity arises where you get a chance to incorporate some very neat effects into the image when shooting. This was the case when Ted and I were at the harbor and pelicans and gulls would come straight at us.

By Ted Grussing … the magazine … the activities we all engage in each day … the joy … the smiles … my God, we are here, breathing, loving and filling each moment with something … perhaps a dream … fulfilling a dream … for ourselves or better yet for one we love … and soon enough it is over and we continue, or not. This moment we control … no longer the one past or the one that comes next … our choice, shall it be ???
