Sedona AZ (September 20, 2019) – On Thursday, September 19, 2019, around 2:45 PM, deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover collision on Beaverhead Flat Road, about a mile and one-half north of Cornville Road, Cornville. The driver, 34-year-old Nicole Walls from Sedona, had been ejected from a 2005 Chevrolet SUV and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Very preliminary indications are that the driver may have over corrected during turning movements causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and roll multiple times. The driver was not wearing a seat belt.

Clarkdale AZ (September 19, 2019) – On Tuesday, September 17 at approximately 3:40 p.m., Clarkdale police officers responded to a single motorcycle accident on State Route 89A between mileposts 347 and 348. Clarkdale officers assisted Verde Valley Fire District, Verde Valley Ambulance, Jerome Police Department, Jerome Fire Department, and Arizona Department of Public Safety with first aid and traffic control. Your instructor Carolyn Grebenstein, from Bearcat Studio, will teach you how to make your own cob-Webber broom. Each participant leaves with the broom they make. This class does require an RSVP and it costs $7/person. No children under 10. This craft does require some light pulling but no sewing at all.

On arrival crews found an built in barbeque on fire under a covered porch. Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to the house.
