Verde Valley AZ (July 14, 2015) – The Forest Service often witnesses an increase of abandoned campfires during the summer months when campfires are not restricted and would like to remind the public to fully extinguish their campfire before leaving their campsite. Campfires must be extinguished by drowning it with water, stirring with a shovel, and repeating that process until the campfire is cold to the touch. Rimrock AZ (July 13, 2015) – On July 12, 2015, at approximately 10:30 PM, YCSO deputies were dispatched to the report of a stabbing incident in Rimrock. Deputies contacted the 39-year-old victim who had a small stab wound to his stomach area. The victim explained that while driving along Cliffside Trail from E.
