Sedona AZ (March 7, 2017) – Fix that pavement! Motorists using State Route 89A between Sedona and Flagstaff should allow extra travel time Wednesday through Friday (March 8 – 10), while Arizona Department of Transportation crews apply asphalt to repair roadway conditions following an active winter storm season. SR 89A will be reduced to one lane just south of Grasshopper Point (milepost 376) to Pine Flats Campground (milepost 387) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flaggers will provide alternating north- and southbound travel through the work zone. Motorists should allow extra travel time and plan for delays.

Prescott AZ (March 7, 2017) – Late last month, YCSO deputies were dispatched to a home invasion robbery in progress in the 8000 block of South Stevens Trail, Wilhoit, Arizona. The male caller gave a name and identified himself as the homeowner and stated 3 to 4 unknown people with bats and wearing ski masks were trying to break into his home. The caller gave updates over the phone while locked in the bathroom. At one point and just before the caller disconnected, he told dispatchers the suspects made it inside the home.
