Royal Ballet production from London debuts on the big screen at Fisher TheatreSedona AZ (April 19, 2017) – The Sedona International Film Festival presents Ballet in Cinema on Sunday, April 30 when it hosts the big screen premiere of “Jewels” from the Royal Ballet in London. There will be one show at 3:00 p.m. at the festival’s Mary D. Sedona AZ (April 18, 2017) – Easter weekend proved to be a busy one for Sedona Fire District personnel. Starting Friday afternoon through Easter Sunday, crews were busy with calls of all types.Shortly after 4 p.m. Friday, fire crews were dispatched to Thai Spices Restaurant at 2611 W State Route 89A for a kitchen fire. The fire was confined to the kitchen hood system and damage was estimated at $2500. Clarkdale AZ (April 18, 2017) – On the eve of her recognition as the Yavapai College Verde Valley campus Alumna of the Year, 1997 Yavapai College Nursing Program graduate Stephanie Purinton was only able to close her eyes and rest for about one hour.She wasn’t nervous or anxious about accepting the award. Rather, she had spent most of the night and early morning hours preceding the Evening of Recognition event delivering one baby and monitoring the progress of a second.

Sedona AZ (April 18, 2017) – Kim Diment has always had an affinity for art and animals, which is why she chose to major in zoology and fine art at Michigan State University. Kim still lives along the banks of the Au Sable River, which is where she grew up, and she relishes the opportunity to visit the Southwest where the flora and fauna are so different from what she finds in her own backyard. Kim will travel to Sedona for her one-woman show, Run Wild, on Friday, April 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Rowe Fine Art Gallery.

Sedona AZ (April 18, 2017) – The University Women of Sedona will hold their May 1st meeting at Christ Lutheran Church, 25 Chapel Road, Sedona.  The featured speaker will be Erin Mabery, Executive Director, Buena Vista Children’s Services. Ms Mabery trains and promotes Early  Childhood professionals and community members on such programs as “Read On Arizona”, “Love and Logic Parenting”, and “Northern Arizona Restorative Justice”.   She works directly with those interested in concerns such as childcare disaster readiness and community health promotion.  Ms Mabery has written, piloted and/or managed  programs such as “Discovery Connection”, and “Bright Futures Childcare”.

Sedona AZ (April 17, 2017) – Sedona resident Robert Albrecht of True West Images is a Digital Painter and has a passion for creating thought-provoking art. He has done that with his yearlong project of painting the seven Ambassador Members of the Apex Protection Project pack. The paintings are in Edition Series of 50 and will be donated by Albrecht as gifts for certain donation levels during “Wolf Week” April 20th to April 23rd in Sedona, AZ. The donor can pick which pack member they want and the size is determined by their donation level.
