Are popular crowdfunding and social media methods the right way to reach constituents and donors in Sedona? As the Library is celebrating its 60th anniversary, we want to be sure that our older library stays current in a quickly advancing world of communications. By Ted Grussing… a terrific day with the AM portion finding me above the San Francisco Peaks and catching reflections of the mountain on the top of the wings. It was a beautiful clear sky day with near unlimited visibility. The near peak is Agassiz and the top snow peak on the left is Humphreys, on the left horizon is the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the NW section of the Painted Desert is above and to the right of the peaks … a plethora of volcanic cones are visible to the left of the peaks.

Both attacks were the result of people feeding javelina at their homes.On Feb. 5, Game and Fish received information that a 79-year-old woman was bitten by a javelina in a neighborhood southwest of Sedona. Fire Inspector Rolfes received her badge at the February 27th Board Meeting. Her badge was pinned to her uniform by her father Doug. Also in attendance were her mother, Jane and brother, Ben.Kyla has an Associates of Fire Science and an Associates of Paramedicine from Yavapai College. She graduated with honors. Prescott AZ (March 22, 2018) – This past weekend beginning Friday, March 16, 2018, through Saturday, March 17, 2018, (6) Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies were assigned to DUI enforcement patrol around Yavapai County. Driver’s under the influence were arrested in the communities of Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Rimrock, Prescott and Black Canyon City.The (6) deputies conducted a total of 60 traffic stops resulting in the arrest of 5 misdemeanor DUI’s, 1 Aggravated DUI, and 1 DUI drug.
