Sedona AZ (November 3, 2019) – At 01:56 Saturday morning, November 2nd, Sedona firefighters were dispatched to the Sedona Winds assisted living facility located at 475 Jacks Canyon Rd. for a fire in one of the residential units. “The automatic fire sprinkler system had extinguished most of the fire before we arrived,” said Captain David Rodriguez, “limiting fire damage to the one room.” The fire was discovered by a nurse’s aid when the sprinkler system activated and triggered the buildings fire alarm system. Prescott AZ (October 31, 2019) – 1st Rescue – On October 26, 2019, around 4:30 PM, a mom reported that her 8-year-old autistic son had run from the family while on the Thumb Butte Trail out side of Prescott, Arizona. Family was searching but had not found him. Sedona AZ (October 31, 2019) – The newly-renovated playground at Sunset Park is expected to reopen on Nov. 7. The reopening date is subject to delay if weather affects the construction schedule. By Ted Grussing… I took this shot of a Grackle a couple of days ago down at the ponds. He was perched on one of the iron crossbars of a dock in a pond and checking for food in the vicinity. I didn’t see it until I uploaded the photo, but there is a spider web between the cross bars upper right portion of the intersection and to the right of the grackles tail feathers. Operating within the limits of the camera, the 90D is an absolutely fantastic camera.
