    logo_barbershopharmonysocietySedona AZ (October 31, 2019) – Harmony on the Rocks Chorus, the Sedona chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society,(BHS) is pleased to announce an open to the public, without charge, concert, at 3:00 pm, Sunday November 10  at The Phillip England Performing Arts Center, 210 Camp Lincoln Road Camp Verde, Az. 86322. The show is music in the barbershop style, and features the chorus with special guest quartet, “Vocalocity” the 2019 winner of the Far Western District of the BHS Quartet competition.  Come on out and enjoy this uniquely American form of music. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  This FREE concert is brought to you through the generosity of staff and of The Performing Arts Center.

    What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
