By Tommy Acosta Sedona, AZ – On Tuesday, August 22, the Sedona City Council will reportedly discuss a proposed potential voluntary agreement between the city and Off Highway Vehicle operators, and a draft ordinance to regulate the operation of such vehicles in Sedona. It’s Déjà vu all over again… I don’t own an OHV. I have no interest in ever driving one. I live in a gated community where someone trying to ride one through it would probably be tarred and feathered. So, I have no horse in this race. If the city wants to go ahead and limit the…

… the squirrel in the photo above seems to be checking the neighborhood out for possible predators in the area before exposing himself to the unknown and he is ready to bolt in an instant if something were to go wrong. … survival can be a struggle and how much so is readily apparent in the photo above wherein the adult bald eagle is striving to establish firm control over the coot that he has in his talons … the coots wing is poking up out of the water behind and on the left of the eagle. The eagle tried several times to take off with his prize, but the coot still had enough life left to avoid his fate as dinner of the moment. The coot was grievously wounded and later the eagle came back and swooped up his hard-earned…
