This Committee recommends policy on public art issues to the Arts & Culture Commission. The Committee’s goal is to bring public art to the community through exhibits, donations, and art competitions. “Music at the Museum” Concert Series The Sedona Heritage Museum presents the Plein Aire String Quartet in a special performance of “Music at the Museum” at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 8 at the Sedona Heritage Museum. The Plein Aire Quartet is a newly formed string quartet with a mission to perform for fun and fulfillment. Leader Melissa Collins Cripps says, “The group chooses to fully explore the connection between music and the appreciation of nature. All of our members are professional musicians performing with Verde Valley Sinfonietta and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra as well as others.”
Museum to Hold Tool Sale The Sedona Heritage Museum will host a tool sale on Saturday, October 15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Museum is currently taking donations of hand tools, power tools, and certain workshop supplies.
