Building on a successful 6-woman concert at Studio Live in December, Our Voices Are Alive is expanding into a grassroots movement. In partnership with the Verde Valley Sanctuary and the Sedona Performing Arts Alliance, Our Voices Are Alive is providing workshops and events for the creative self-expression of women in Northern Arizona.

Rimrock AZ (May 14, 2013) – On May 12, 2013, at approximately 10 AM, a man pulled up to the Montezuma/Rimrock Fire Station and when contacted by on-duty fireman, reported the apparent death a female seated inside his truck. Fireman attempted CPR on the woman without success as the man drove away before identifying himself or the woman. She was pronounced dead at the firehouse.

Public is invited to Share Ideas Verde Valley AZ (May 14, 2013) – The Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest in partnership with the City of Sedona and the Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (NAIPTA) are currently investigating strategies to provide public transportation to trailheads, recreation sites and visitor centers on State Highway 179 north from the Forest Service Visitor Center and on State Highway 89A in Oak Creek Canyon. Flagstaff AZ (May 13, 2013) – On Wednesday the Coconino National Forest will issue a revised, free Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) to show all of the roads, trails and areas open to motor vehicle use on the Forest. The free MVUM is re-issued each year and can be downloaded for use on smartphones and Garmin GPS devices at http://go.usa.gov/PEa (case sensitive). Hard copies of the map will be available at all Coconino National Forest Offices, nearby national forest offices, and other local businesses that choose to carry them.
