There are eight candidates for the City Council seats and two candidates for Mayor.

He was pretty energetic and you can see debris flying off of him … and I like the goofy look of his ears as they flopped around. A few minutes later he ambled off up the fairway near the arroyo in search of a good meal … or perhaps a nap as he ponders the mysteries of all that is.

Unfortunately, not all areas have received significant amounts to reduce the potential for wildfires. Flagstaff AZ (July 7, 2014) – Due to significant and widespread rain and rapidly decreasing fire danger, the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests in northern Arizona will lift all fire restrictions at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8. Managers typically lift fire restrictions when at least a half inch of precipitation has been received over more than two-thirds of the forests. To date, many areas of both forests have received double that amount of precipitation, with an inch or more of rain being reported in many locations. Fire danger has decreased dramatically from “extreme” last week to “moderate” today.
