Cornville AZ (February 12, 2015) – On February 4, 2015, David Bukowski, age 25 and originally from Cornville, was arrested for charges including an outstanding arrest warrant, several counts of Forgery, Possession of a Forged Instrument, Assuming a False Identity, and Possession of Marijuana. He remains in-custody in Camp Verde on an $18,000 bond. The following day, February 5, 2015, Bukowski’s mother, Ronda Engel, age 50 from Cornville, was arrested for charges including Possession of Deadly Weapon during a Felony and Possession of Marijuana. Sedona AZ (February 11, 2015) – On February 8, 2015, at approximately 7:30PM, YCSO received a call regarding 2 subjects, a 46-year-old male and a 39-year-old female, both from Los Angeles, who were stuck near the top of Bell Rock in the Village of Oak Creek. The initial call to YCSO came from a concerned citizen who reported seeing flashing lights on Bell Rock appearing to indicate someone in distress. Sedona AZ (February 11, 2015) – The Sedona Heritage Museum will once again present their popular historic sites tours of Oak Creek Canyon’s historic places on April 9, 10, and 11. The tours will be narrated by Paul Thompson. Thompson is the grandson of pioneer homesteader Jim Thompson, the Sedona area’s first permanent Anglo settler who came here in 1876, and son of Albert Thompson who wrote many of the stories in the book, “Those Early Days”.
