Sedona AZ (May 3, 2013) – On May 3, 2013, Geotechnical and Environmental Sciences Consultants Firm, Ninyo and Moore, will be drilling in a couple of locations on Airport Road, about 500-feet north from the Airport Overlook. The City of Sedona is working with the Airport Authority and Yavapai County on this matter. The drillings are part of a geotechnical report being prepared by Ninyo and Moore to identify the stability of the area, as part of an approach to repair the road shoulder issue.

Verde Valley AZ (May 2, 2013) – Lane restrictions will be required on an eight-mile segment of State Route 89A between Cottonwood and Sedona beginning Monday, May 13 to allow crews to perform preventative maintenance on the roadway, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. Sedona AZ (May 2, 2013) – Recently, the Federal Government adopted new transportation funding legislation known as MAP-21. As ADOT has worked to determine how to respond to the impact of the recent transportation funding legislation, they have found it necessary to cancel Round 19 of the enhancement grant cycle, which included the Andante Sidewalk Project. In light of this, the project will not be moving forward at this time.
