By Matthew C OskowisParent/AdvocateCOPAA Member(June 30, 2015)  I received a letter from the Office of the Arizona Attorney General dated June 25, 2015 regarding the Open Meeting Law Complaint against Sedona Oak Creek Unified School District that I had filed against the District back in August 27, 2014. The complaint dealt with the two Special Public Meetings that the SOCUSD governing board held consecutively Monday, June 23, 2014 and Monday, July 14, 2014. These two board meetings were critical in the determination and selection of Scott Keller as the second principal at West Sedona School.

By Ted Grussing … very thankful that a mere 9,000 years ago the planet got serious about warming up and thawing some glaciers; the view in this photo is from the top of the bluffs overlooking the Minnesota River Valley, south and west of Minneapolis. Information & Perspective by Warren Woodward(June 29, 2015)  Among the emails and documents I recently received via a Public Records Request of the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) were some complaint forms from the ACC’s Consumer Services section. Whenever someone calls or emails the ACC with a complaint or question about a utility, these forms are used to record the complaint or question as well as the ACC’s response. Read More→

Information & Perspective by Warren Woodward(June 27, 2015)  Last May I appealed “smart” meter Decision # 75047 made by the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC). The Decision was illegal in many ways. Plus the commissioners lied repeatedly throughout the Decision. I detailed all the lies and lawlessness in my appeal to the ACC (here: http://images.edocket.azcc.gov/docketpdf/0000163221.pdf ), but the commissioners denied my appeal by not responding to it within the 20 days specified in law. I then brought the ACC’s serial lawbreaking to the attention of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office but, typically, it was not interested in enforcing the law, so…
