Sedona AZ (November 21, 2015) – Eforea Spa and Sedona Athletic Club, both located at Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock in the Village of Oak Creek, is hosting a very special drive this holiday season for local senior citizens: Socks for Seniors. The nonprofit, community-service project originated 15 years ago in Columbus, Ohio. This year, more than 600 cities nationwide will participate in the program. Socks for Seniors organizes, collects and distributes new socks for local senior communities.

Sedona AZ (November 21, 2015) -December 6th at 2PM, Verde Valley School (VVS) will give a “Farm to Table Tour” of it’s innovative farm and environmental stewardship program. Verde Valley AZ (November 20, 2015) – In the last several days, YCSO has again received numerous reports regarding IRS telephone tax scams. The most common complaint involves scam artists acting as IRS agents and calling to demand money or indicate a tax refund is due as a means to obtain personal information. When the scammer claims an overdue tax payment, the suspects will demand the taxpayer send cash via prepaid debit cards. The calls are also intimidating because many of the scammers already had specific knowledge regarding victim identities.
Cottonwood AZ (November 20, 2015) – Dance your vision of Climate Care! On December 4th at 7:00pm, Elizabeth Gerhardt and the Cottonwood Tao Center will offer a Climate Care Awareness Ecstatic Dance. Clarkdale AZ (November 19, 2015) – The Made In Clarkdale artist organization is presenting their 29th Annual Made In Clarkdale Art Show. This year the show is concentrated into a 4-day unique art event, December 3rd-6th. Eight new artists have been juried into the organization and will be showcasing their work in the upcoming exhibit.
