By John Martinez, Vice MayorSedona AZ (July 27, 2017) – This month’s article from me will be on a subject about which I am deeply passionate. Being on city council for over five years has required me to address many issues facing the city and the possible effects they could have on its residents and visitors. They range from agreeing to putting street lights on 89A, single trash hauler, sign codes, and a wireless master plan to name a few. However, the one subject that I believe is most important but gets little attention is sex and human trafficking.

By Dr. Marta AdelsmanLife Coach in Communication and Consciousnesswww.DrMartaCoach.com(July 26, 2017)Today I’m inviting you into some esoteric wanderings prompted by a thought I woke up to a few mornings ago: “If I’m not taking action that scares the snot out of me, then I’m stagnating.” I jumped out of bed and started journaling. That day, the ebb and flow of life and energy led me to take time off from deliberate outward action around my teaching and coaching. Instead I nurtured my inner world, sometimes feeling guilty about it, yet mostly not. I also entertained some concerns about a shrinking income—yet…

By Ted Grussing… is taking shape and a whole new dimension is being added to my shooting with the arrival of “Knot Yacht” this afternoon. I have been in love with the beauty of nature since I was a kid and of all the photography I have done, wildlife photography has always been my favorite subject matter. By Ted Grussing… one of the most intense storms of the season rolled through early afternoon today and it was grand. The power was out for a while which meant that there was nothing else to do, but lie on the couch, snooze and enjoy the forces of nature … and I did. A beautiful river developed in the back yard and it carved a deep bed in the rock/gravel out there. It abated after a while and before dark One got her outing, but she does not enjoy getting her paws wet so that didn’t last very long.
