Sedona AZ (July 26, 2017) – The city’s Volunteer Park Rangers are looking to add dedicated individuals to their ranks.
Created more than 10 years ago, the rangers are commonly seen on the streets of Uptown assisting visitors. Rangers also assist the Parks and Recreation Department at city parks and support large community events.
Volunteers must be: able to meet a minimum number of volunteer hours; willing to be trained in first aid, CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators; and how to provide basic visitor services.
Rangers are required to work outdoors year-round, and must enjoy talking with people and providing information to visitors from around the world.
For more information and an application, pick up a Ranger Packet from the Parks and Recreation Department office located in Posse Grounds Park, 525 Posse Ground Rd.
