By Nazih Hazime, Fire ChiefVerde Valley Fire DistrictCottonwood AZ (May 9, 2018) – Recently the Verde Valley Fire District (VVFD) was recipients of a Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) grant. This funding will allow VVFD to improve the use of seatbelts and child safety seats to reduce the number of fatalities and injuries due to vehicular crashes. The VVFD witnesses firsthand the negative outcome of accidents and children who are not properly secured in their vehicles. We have also partnered with our local Wal-mart for several years to prevent such tragedies from occurring. Together the program has proven successful.

It is a soft and delicate bloom and it makes me feel good, so it is here and going out this morning. The perfect start to a day along with an appropriate amount of espresso or coffee.
