If you own and live in a home and rent out a room or two, it is quite profitable and beneficial. This extra income can cover the cost of ownership plus some. For some, it’s like having a good job. I think the original intent of the 1350 was just that, to create a new source of income to benefit the owner who lived in the home. I think…
By Ted Grussing … been going through the thousands of aerial shots that I have not looked at other when I first uploaded them and culled the shots I did not want to keep … that is running into years now and I am finding a lot of shots better than what I have previously sent out. The photograph above was taken from about three miles south of the confluence of the Verde River and Sycamore Creek and from an altitude of something over 10,000′ looking towards the north. They are beautiful fliers and fly remarkable formations in perfect synchronization. They had no fear of us and let us get within 10 feet of them. By Tommy Acosta Sedona News — Some might have called it a great informational meeting. Others may have called it an exercise in futility. Some might say it was a little bit of both. We are talking about the September 22 short-term rental community event at the OLLI Yavapai Community College sponsored by the Sedona Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau and the Sedona Lodging Council. By Amaya Gayle Gregory Sedona News – On the absolute level I am not, only This Is, therefore I who don’t exist don’t have choice. It’s pretty straightforward. On the relative level it gets muddy quickly because everything is an appearance. The world and you and me are an appearance in consciousness — a majestic phantasm, an illusion beyond the capabilities of Houdini. Is the phantasm real? It’s a real phantasm. Real not real? Don’t get caught up in the comparison, in trying to label reality, and miss the experience. Believing something to be unreal gives license to dismiss it…

Like everyone else, I share the illusion of the human nature character we call I, me, myself. It’s only that I now see it as a role, not who I am or having anything to do with me other than a character to be played for a certain time. Oh, yes, I forget from time to time, as we all do…
