By Amaya Gayle Gregory Sedona News: Can you simply be here, now? Can you flow with whatever appears? The ability to be with whatever appears, regardless of what the whatever is, without need want or desire to run or hide is a pretty simple description of behavior after awakening. That ability is natural to one who has seen through the game, seen what reality actually is, recognizes true nature, knows that the players on stage don’t do anything, can’t do anything, and yet all doing is done through them. Yup! A bloomin’ paradox. It seems like all resistance to the…
By Ted Grussing … this evening I was scrolling through some folders of animals that I have shot at wildlife parks and when I was reviewing a shoot I did years ago at Out of Africa in Camp Verde, I put this image of a White Bengal Tiger up on the screen. One lifted her head from my lap and looked at the screen … so I blew the image up and she got off my lap, walked across the keyboard and put a paw on the screen … a salute to family and a directive to me to send…

By Ted Grussing … the art of learning negotiations can be a rather daunting experience and it is best a skill to learn young. These Golden Retriever puppies are very much engaged in learning how to get their individual viewpoints recognized as the best one and perhaps mimicking humans, they are all in the game. At the end of the day, they all piled up on each other and crashed needing to rest and recoup after all viewpoints had been expressed and the tug of war had ended. Friends and buddies for life … as it should be.
Prescott AZ (October 26, 2021) – We’re not going to make it. Attaining a balance between groundwater withdrawal and replenishment, known as “safe yield,” in the Prescott Active Management Area by 2025 has been a goal of the Arizona Groundwater Management Act since the perils of groundwater overuse were officially recognized in 1980. But achieving the 2025 target date is, by all scientific accounts, impossible. Kathleen Ferris, a consultant with the Kyl Center for Water Policy at Arizona State University, will explain how loopholes in Arizona water law endanger the region’s aquifer and also undermine the very notion of safe…

By Ted Grussing … I captured this Osprey; he was beginning a major power stroke of his wings as he said good bye to us and moved on to a place he could hunt without interruptions from guys who pointed cameras with long lenses at him. The water levels were way down, as they are now … same number of fish in a substantially smaller body/volume of water makes for more fish per cubic foot of water and that means better hunting.
