Sedona AZ (April 5, 2012) – The Sedona Wetlands project at the Wastewater Treatment Plant has received help recently from the Audubon Society and local volunteers. On Thursday, March 29, volunteers cut poles from existing cottonwood and willow trees around the plant site and prepped them for water absorption. The poles were then placed in the ponds to soak until they could be planted.

Camp Verde AZ (April 4, 2012) – Fort Verde State Historic Park will hold its annual “History of the Soldier” event April 14-15, 2012 in Camp Verde. The event offers visitors a living history timeline of military and civilian encampments up to the present day. Sedona AZ (April 4, 2012) – Late last month, Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office rescue personnel were called to Bell Rock in Sedona regarding a stranded female hiker. 38-year-old Christine Pae, visiting from Ohio, had started hiking around 4:00pm.
